The hotel stands in District 1, the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, on Cách Mạng Tháng 8 street, one of the main roads through the middle of the city. Within a short walk are the Memorial Temple to Hung Kings, 200 m away, a temple honouring the legendary founders of the Vietnamese nation, and Tao Dan Park, 250 m away, a green space with a lake and shaded paths. September 23 Park is 300 m away, and Sri Mariamman Temple, the colourful Hindu temple with its painted tower, is in the same neighbourhood.
Getting around is straightforward. The Bến xe Sài Gòn bus station is 550 m from the hotel, and Ben Thanh Station, the starting point of Metro Line 1, is 600 m away. Saigon Railway Station, the main rail terminal, is 2 km away, so a taxi ride is all it takes to reach the hotel from the trains.
Most of the centre's sights are within walking distance. Ben Thanh Market, a covered market of clothes, souvenirs, coffee and street food stalls, is 650 m away, and Independence Palace, the former presidential palace where the war ended in 1975, is also 650 m away. The War Remnants Museum, with aircraft and tanks displayed outside, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, in a French colonial building, are each 800 m from the hotel.
